New sports in this edition
At the Paris 2024 Olympics, two new sports will be included: breaking It is extreme slalom canoeing.
In this new edition, breaking gains space at the Olympic Games, bringing with it the spirit of the streets to the biggest sporting stage in the world. In the new modality, under the sounds selected by the DJ, competitors have just 60 seconds to show all their skill and creativity in a unique battle.
In extreme canoeing, it stands out as a radical version of the traditional slalom. Also known as Kayak Cross, this modality places four boats side by side in a race against time. A lot of adrenaline and emotion are involved!
